**Historic Tours: $15 per person (45-60 minutes)**

Step back in time with our guided tour of the Thornton Distilling Co., housed in Illinois’ oldest brewery, established in 1857. Our 20,000-square-foot structure has a storied past, from enduring a tornado in 1901 to surviving government raids during prohibition.

**Tour Highlights:**

– Begin your journey in the historic cellar, where you’ll learn about the early immigrant brewmaster, John Bielfeldt, and his brewing legacy from the 1850s.

– Explore our fascinating collection of artifacts, including original photographs from the mid-1800s.

– Venture deep into our subterranean limestone-filtered artesian well—source of local legends—where you can snap group photos amidst its stunning natural beauty.

– Witness the distilling process up close on our production floor, where our acclaimed Dead Drop Spirits are crafted.

– Conclude your tour with a guided tasting of four of our signature spirits.

After your tour, we invite you to enjoy dinner and drinks! To avoid long wait times, we strongly encourage reservations.
